Overview
Once your Loop Global Visa Card arrives — whether it’s a Physical Card or Virtual Card — you’ll need to activate it before making purchases. After activation, you can easily manage your card settings anytime from the Cards page in your Loop Dashboard.
This guide walks you through how to activate your Loop Card, view important details, and manage everyday settings like limits, controls, and security.
How to Activate Your Loop Card
For Physical Cards
Log in to your Loop Dashboard.
Go to Cards → View Cards.
Find the physical card you’d like to activate.
Click Activate Card.
Follow the prompts to confirm your card number and set your PIN.
Once activated, your card is ready for immediate use anywhere Visa is accepted.
For Virtual Cards
Virtual cards are active instantly once created — no activation step required. You can begin using them right away for online payments.
How to Manage Your Loop Card
Once your card is active, you can manage all settings from your Cards page:
View Card Details: See your card number, expiry date, and CVV (for virtual cards).
Adjust Limits: Set or update spending limits to control budgets.
Freeze or Unfreeze: Temporarily disable a card if it’s misplaced or not in use.
Cancel Card: Permanently deactivate a card if it’s no longer needed.
Rename Card: Label cards by department, project, or vendor for easier tracking.
View Transactions: Review recent activity or export reports for reconciliation.
Tips
Only Admins or authorized team members can activate or manage cards.
Changes take effect immediately — for example, freezing a card will block new transactions right away.
Physical cards can take a few business days to arrive after being ordered.
FAQs
Do I need to activate my virtual card?
No. Virtual cards are automatically active once created.
Where do I find my card PIN?
You’ll create your PIN during activation. You can update it later in your card settings.
Can I change the spending limit later?
Yes. Limits can be adjusted anytime by an Admin or authorized user.
What happens if I freeze my card?
