How to connect your CRA to Loop

You can securely link your Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) account to Loop by adding an authorized representative on your business profile.This allows Loop read-only access for verification purposes —helping ensure your business details updated and compliant.

Overview

Connecting your CRA account to Loop allows Loop to securely verify your business information, such as legal name and tax registration details.

This access is view-only, meaning Loop cannot make any changes to your CRA account. The process takes just a few minutes through your CRA Business Account.

How to connect your CRA account to Loop

  1. Log in to your CRA Business Account

    • Click this link to sign in: CRA Login

    • Once logged in, select Business Profile.

  2. Manage Authorized Representatives

    • In your Business Profile, click Manage Authorized Representatives.

  3. Authorize Loop as a representative

    • Click Authorize a Representative.

    • When prompted, enter the following details:

      • Business Number: 817129778

      • Access Level: Level 1 – View only access

      • Expiry Date: Leave this field blank

    • Select All Accounts when asked which accounts to authorize.

  4. Review and confirm

    • Click Next to review your authorization details.

    • Confirm your submission to complete the setup.

Once completed, Loop will appear as an authorized representative on your CRA account with read-only permissions.

  • Loop’s access is strictly read-only. No changes can be made to your CRA data.

  • This connection allows Loop to verify your business details securely and efficiently.

  • You can revoke Loop’s access at any time through your CRA Business Account.
