Who Can Apply
You can apply for a Loop Account if:
Your business is registered in Canada, either federally or provincially.
You’re an authorized signatory — someone who has legal authority to act on behalf of the business.
Your business type is one of the following:
Corporation
Partnership
Registered Charity
Sole Proprietorships
At this time, Loop cannot open Accounts for unregistered businesses.
FAQs
Can multiple people from my business apply?
Yes, any authorized signatory can apply, but each Account is opened under the registered business.
Can a non-profit apply?
Yes, if it is a registered charity recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Can I apply for Loop if I am in another country?
Yes, as long as you're a registered Canadian business, you can apply for Loop no matter where you are located.
Can I apply for Loop if I am not Canadian?
The requirement is that the business has to have at least one director who is a Canadian resident or citizen.
