Overview
The Loop Referral Program rewards you for spreading the word. Share your unique invite link with Canadian businesses. When they sign up and make a qualifying transaction over $200 CAD (or equivalent), you both get 10,000 Loop Points.
This guide shows you who’s eligible, what counts as a qualifying transaction, and how to share your link in minutes.
Who can participate
Referrers: All verified Loop clients with an active account in good standing.
Referred businesses: Must be Canadian-registered companies or sole proprietorships that don’t already have a Loop account and haven’t started onboarding under any email or alias.
If a business joined via a previous referral promotion, they’ll receive the reward from that promotion.
What counts as a qualifying transaction
Your referral must complete at least one posted transaction over $200 CAD (or equivalent) from the list below:
Make a currency conversion
Make a card purchase
Send a payment that includes a conversion
Points are awarded within 30 business days of the posted date of the first qualifying transaction.
How to refer (and get rewarded)
Get your link
Go to your Loop Dashboard → Rewards → Refer & Earn to copy your unique code and link.
Share your link
Send your invite link to eligible Canadian businesses. They must sign up at https://app.bankonloop.com/apply and enter your code during registration.
They complete a qualifying transaction
Any one transaction over $200 CAD (or equivalent) that meets the criteria above.
You both earn!
10,000 Points each are added to your accounts—typically after the transaction posts. You’ll receive an email confirmation when it’s done.
Good-faith use
Please use referrals responsibly and lawfully. Don’t refer yourself, duplicate accounts, or existing Loop customers.

Share your link directly from your dashboard to avoid typos.
Make it easy: remind your friend to use your link and enter your code at signup.

When do I get my reward?
After your friend signs up with your link/code and completes one qualifying transaction over $200 CAD (or equivalent)—currency conversion, card purchase, or a payment with conversion—points are awarded within 30 business days of the posted date. We’ll email you when it’s credited.
I haven’t received a bonus from a friend who signed up—what should I do?
First, confirm your friend used your invite link/code and has completed a qualifying transaction. Rewards post within 30 business days of the transaction’s posted date. If it’s been longer, contact support@bankonloop.com with the referral details.
What if my friend didn’t use my link?
If your friend signed up without your code at https://app.bankonloop.com/apply, email support@bankonloop.com. Share your friend’s business name and signup email so we can review.
Who is eligible to be referred?
Only Canadian-registered businesses or sole proprietors who don’t have an existing Loop account and haven’t started onboarding.
