Getting Started: Loop Travel

Loop Travel lets eligible customers book flights and hotels in the Loop Dashboard using Loop reward points, a Loop account balance, or both.

Loop Travel is a travel booking experience built into the Loop Dashboard. Eligible Loop customers can search and book flights and hotels using Loop reward points, a Loop account balance, or a combination of both.

How to access Loop Travel

  1. Log in to your Loop Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Travel in the left sidebar.

  3. Search for flights or hotels using the search form.

How to search for flights

  1. Select Flights in Loop Travel.

  2. Enter your trip details — origin, destination, travel dates, and number of passengers.

  3. Click Search to view available options.

  4. Filter and sort results by price, duration, or airline.

  5. Select a flight to view fare details, baggage rules, and cancellation policies before booking.

How to search for hotels

  1. Select Hotels in Loop Travel.

  2. Enter your stay details — destination, check-in and check-out dates, and number of guests.

  3. Click Search to view available options.

  4. Review room types, rates, amenities, and cancellation policies.

  5. Select a room to proceed to checkout.

How to pay with Loop points

At checkout, you can choose to pay:

  • Entirely with Loop points — your full points balance is applied to the booking.

  • Entirely with your Loop account balance — charged to your Loop CAD account.

  • Points + cash — split the payment between points and your Loop CAD account balance, where available.

The number of points required and the applicable payment options are displayed before you confirm the booking. Your points balance must be sufficient at the time of redemption to complete a points payment.

Note: Redemption values may vary by booking, inventory, destination, and date.

Completing a booking

Before confirming, review all booking details carefully, including:

  • Traveller names (must match government-issued ID)

  • Travel dates, airports, and destinations

  • Hotel location, room type, and check-in/check-out dates

  • Payment amounts, taxes, and fees

  • Cancellation policy

A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation from Loop Travel. In some cases, confirmation may take a short time after submission.

Cancellations, changes, and refunds

Cancellation and change eligibility depends on the fare or rate type selected. Some bookings are non-refundable or non-changeable.

  • Before booking: Review the cancellation policy shown on the checkout screen.

  • After booking: To request a cancellation or change, use the support channel provided in your booking confirmation.

If a refund is available, it may be returned as points, a Loop account credit, or another form depending on the provider's policy. Refund timing varies by provider.

Loop Travel bookings are fulfilled and serviced by our travel infrastructure partners. For booking-specific support — including cancellations, changes, flight disruptions, hotel issues, or ticketing questions — use the support contact provided in your booking confirmation.

Important notes

  • Loop Travel is available to Loop clients with an active account in good standing.

  • Loop Travel is intended for business travel use.

  • Prices, availability, fees, and taxes are provided by travel suppliers and may change before a booking is confirmed.

  • Loop is not an airline, hotel, or travel agency. Loop facilitates the booking experience; the underlying flights, hotels, and travel services are provided by third-party suppliers.

  • Traveller names must match the identification used at check-in or boarding.

  • You are responsible for ensuring all travellers have valid travel documents, visas, and meet entry requirements for their destination.

  • Some fees — such as resort fees, baggage fees, or hotel incidental charges — may be charged directly by the provider and are not included in the Loop Travel booking total.

Do my points expire?

Refer to your Loop Rewards Terms and Conditions for details on points expiry.

Can I book travel for someone other than myself?

Yes. You can book on behalf of employees, contractors, or other travellers. Ensure traveller names match their government-issued identification.

What happens to my points if I cancel?

If a refund is available under the booking's cancellation policy, points may be returned to your Loop Rewards account, less any applicable fees or penalties. The treatment of points on cancellation depends on the provider's terms.

Can I earn points on a Loop Travel booking?

Points earning on Loop Travel bookings is governed by your Loop Rewards Terms and Conditions.

What currencies can I use for the cash portion of a booking?

Currently, you can only use the balance in your Loop CAD account to pay for Loop Travel, in addition to your points balance.
