How to Close Your Loop Account

To close your Loop account, clear all wallet balances, pay off any credit balances, download required statements, then contact Loop Support to finalize.

If you'd like to close your Loop account, you'll first need to ensure all balances are cleared and any required statements are downloaded. Once everything is complete, contact the Loop Support team and we'll help finalize the account closure.

If you've decided to proceed, follow the steps below to prepare your account for closure.

How do I close my account?

1. Transfer out all wallet balances. Before your account can be closed, all wallet balances must be reduced to $0.00.

  • Transfer any remaining funds to a connected external bank account.

  • Wait until all transfers show as completed.

2. Pay off any outstanding credit balances. Ensure that any outstanding credit balances have been fully repaid before requesting account closure.

3. Download any required statements. Once your account is closed, you will no longer have access to your account information or statements. Before proceeding:

  • Download any account statements you may need for your records.

  • Save copies of any important transaction history.

4. Contact Support. After completing the steps above, contact the Loop Support team at support@bankonloop.com. Our team will review your account and help complete the closure process.

  • Account closure requests cannot be completed until all balances are cleared.

  • Be sure to save any statements or records you may need in the future.

  • Processing times may vary depending on the status of your account.
