Loop’s real-time spending notifications keep your business in control by alerting you whenever transactions occur on your Loop Cards.
You can customize these alerts at both the business level (for company-wide notifications) and the user level (for individual preferences). Notifications can be sent instantly, helping you monitor spending, catch unusual activity, and stay on top of expenses as they happen.
Steps to Set Up Real-Time Spending Notifications
Log in to your Loop Dashboard.
Go to Account Settings.
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
Open the Notifications tab.
In the Settings menu, click the Notifications tab to manage notification preferences.
Select the notification type.
Choose between:
Business Notification Settings: Manage notifications for your entire company.
User Notification Settings: Manage your personal notification preferences.
Choose your notification events.
Under Card Notifications, select the types of activity you want to receive alerts for, such as:
Approved Card Transactions
Refunded Card Transactions
Assign recipients.
Click Change Recipients to select who should receive each type of notification. You can add or remove team members as needed.
Save your settings.
Your changes are applied immediately. Notifications will begin sending in real time based on your selections.
Notes
Only Admins can modify Business Notification Settings.
User-level settings allow each team member to personalize their alerts.
Notifications are sent instantly via your registered Loop email.
You can update or disable notifications at any time.

Can I get notifications for all card transactions?
Yes. You can enable alerts for all approved or refunded card transactions at the business or user level.
Can multiple people receive the same notification?
Yes. You can assign multiple recipients to any notification type.
Are notifications available by SMS or in-app?
Currently, notifications are sent by email. More delivery options are planned in future updates.
Can I disable notifications temporarily?
Yes. You can deselect specific notification types or remove yourself as a recipient at any time.
