How to Connect Your Loop Account
Log in to your Wave dashboard.
Navigate to the Banking tab in the left-hand menu and select Connected Accounts.
Click Connect Account and search for Loop Financial.
Note: You may see "Loop Financial (CA)" and "Loop Financial (US)." Either option will work – this is simply how Wave categorizes the connection.
When prompted, log in using your Loop credentials.
Map Your Accounts: Choose the specific accounts or credit cards you would like to import transactions from and map them to the corresponding account in your Wave Chart of Accounts.
Select Start Date: You can choose a specific starting date from which you would like your transactions to sync.
Hit Save and Continue. Your transactions will begin to flow into Wave, where you can immediately begin reviewing them.

FAQ
I can’t find my credit card when connecting. Why?
Loop connects to your credit card account (one per currency), not to each individual card. If your team has multiple cards, all of those card transactions will appear under the connected credit card account.
I can’t see my Account Linked Cards (ALCs) when connecting. Why?
Account Linked Cards don’t appear as separate accounts when you connect. Their transactions show up under the account they’re linked to.
For example, if you have a CAD Operating Account and three CAD Account Linked Cards, all of those card transactions will appear under the CAD Operating Account after it’s connected.
I converted funds from one Loop currency account to another. Can I see the conversion details?
Yes. In Wave, the transaction description includes the currency conversion details (including the destination account and amount). For example, in your CAD account you might see: “Conversion from Loop CAD Account to Loop GBP Account - £2.69 GBP”
Why are the transaction dates on Wave different from the dates in the Loop dashboard?
Loop shows the transaction date (when the activity happened). Wave shows the posted date (when the transaction finished processing and posted).
Because posted dates can be later than transaction dates, it’s normal for the dates to differ.
