What is Loop FX?

Loop FX is Loop’s built-in foreign exchange feature, allowing you to convert funds instantly between currencies — including CAD, USD, EUR, and GBP.

How to convert currencies through Loop

  1. Go to the Accounts page in your Loop Dashboard.

  2. Select the currency account you want to convert from.

  3. Click Convert.

  4. Choose the currency you want to convert to (e.g., CAD → USD).

  5. Review the live exchange rate (including the FX fee).

  6. Confirm to complete the conversion.

Your converted funds will appear instantly or within one business day in the destination account.

Loop’s FX rates are live and refresh automatically to reflect market movements.

How to use Loop’s FX rates for global payments

  1. Go to the Send Payments page in your Loop Account.

  2. Click Add Payee and enter the recipient’s details.

  3. Choose the currency you want to send.

  4. Review Loop’s FX rate (the same rate used for conversions).

  5. Confirm and send the payment.

Your payment will be processed at the confirmed FX rate, ensuring full transparency and no hidden markups.
