If a payment fails, don't worry — this can happen for a few common reasons, such as incorrect details or insufficient funds. Loop's dedicated support team is here to help you identify the cause and get the payment resolved quickly.
Overview
A payment may fail for several reasons, including invalid banking details, insufficient funds, or network issues between banks. Most failed payments are easy to resolve once the issue is identified.
Loop automatically notifies you if a payment doesn't go through, and our Support Team is always ready to assist in reviewing, resubmitting, or troubleshooting your transaction.
Steps to troubleshoot
Check your payment details — confirm that all account numbers, payee names, and currency selections are correct. A common cause of failure is using international payment details for a payee located in the U.S. when paying in USD. If you're sending a USD payment to the U.S., make sure you're using local ACH details.
Verify available funds — ensure the sending account has enough balance to cover the payment. This applies only to payments from an external account.
Contact Loop Support — if everything appears correct but the payment still fails, contact our Support Team for assistance. They can review the transaction, identify the issue, and guide you through next steps.
