Overview
Loop uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) — also known as Two-Step Verification — to keep your account secure. This added step ensures only authorized users can log in or send payments.
You’ll set up MFA once through your personal settings, and then verify with a code from your authenticator app whenever you sign in or authorize key actions.
Steps
Go to your Dashboard.
Log in to your Loop account.
Open your personal settings.
Click your profile icon, then select Settings → Personal.
Locate the Two-Step Verification section.
Scroll to the bottom right corner of the page to find Two-Step Verification.
Install an authenticator app.
Download an app such as Authy, Google Authenticator, or any other TOTP-compatible app on your mobile device.
Scan the QR code.
In Loop, click Set Up Two-Step Verification.
A QR code will appear.
Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code to link your Loop account.
Enter the verification code.
The app will generate a 6-digit code.
Enter this code in Loop to complete setup.
Save your setup.
Your Two-Step Verification is now active. You’ll use a new code from your app each time you log in or send a payment.
Notes / Tips
MFA is required for all users on every login and when sending payments.
Each user must complete their own setup — MFA codes are unique per device.
If your phone is lost or your authenticator app is reset, contact support@bankonloop.com. Our team will verify your identity by phone and temporarily disable MFA so you can regain access.
