Overview
Autodeposit is a feature of Interac e-Transfer that allows CAD payments to be deposited instantly into your Loop Account. When someone sends you money via Interac, the funds go straight into your account — no manual acceptance, passwords, or delays.
This feature helps your business streamline collections, reduce fraud risk, and ensure you never miss a payment.
Steps
Confirm you have a CAD Operating Account.
Auto-Deposit is only available for Loop CAD Operating Accounts. Make sure you have one set up.
Go to your Interac Autodeposit settings.
In your Loop dashboard, navigate to Accounts → CAD Operating Accounts → Interac Autodeposit.
Click Set Up Autodeposit.
Add one or more email addresses.
Enter the email address (or addresses) you want to use for receiving Interac e-Transfers.
You can add up to 20 different emails, each linked to your Loop CAD Operating Account.
For example, you might assign separate emails for different departments or clients.
Confirm and enable.
Review the setup details and select your Loop CAD Account as the destination.
Click Enable Autodeposit to finish setup.
Once enabled, any Interac e-Transfer sent to one of your registered email addresses will automatically be deposited into your Loop Account.
Notes
Autodeposit applies only to incoming CAD payments via Interac e-Transfer.
Up to 20 Auto-Deposit emails can be linked to a single Loop CAD Operating Account.
Payments sent to non-registered emails must be manually accepted by the recipient.
FAQs
Can I use Autodeposit for currencies other than CAD?
No. Autodeposit is available only for Canadian dollar (CAD) payments via Interac e-Transfer.
Can I register more than one email for Autodeposit?
Yes. You can register up to 20 different email addresses for Autodeposit on your Loop CAD account.
Do I have to manually accept Interac payments?
No. Once Autodeposit is enabled, funds are deposited automatically.
Is there a fee for using Autodeposit?
No. Receiving Interac e-Transfers via Autodeposit is free through Loop.
